About the house
Rose-Marie Lodge is a 3-4 bedroom accessible holiday home, sleeping up to 8 guests.
Living space
The heart of the house is the open plan living area, with a modern kitchen/dining room and open plan lounge with smart TV. This is a spacious room designed for wheelchairs to manouvere easily.
Large patio doors open onto a spacious single level patio with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the sunshine. A ramp leads down to the large enclosed garden.
Bedrooms & bathrooms
Downstairs you'll find an accessible bedroom with wet room, double bedroom, bathroom and snug with optional sofa bed, while upstairs you'll find an en suite master bedroom.
Downstairs bedrooms
The accessible bedroom features a profiling bed with padded safety rails and tracked ceiling hoist which goes through to the en-suite wetroom. There is the option to have a single sofa bed in this room alongside the profiling bed. The room has been designed with comfort in mind and is a relaxing, open space. The en-suite wet-room features a remote controllable sink (raise, lower, hot/cold water) and grab rail at the toilet, sink and shower. We are able to provide a komode, shower bed, tilting shower chair or shower stool if required.
Bedroom two is a comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor, with a bathroom across the hall.
Opposite the accessible room is our snug - a calming and relaxing spot, perfect for reading a book and enjoying the sunset. This can be made into a double sofa bed if required.
Please note that a second profiling bed is available on request for an additional charge.
We also have a mobile hoist available.
Upstairs bedroom
Upstairs features a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower. This huge room provides great views across the garden and has a large wardrobe for storagge.
Additional information
There is off-road parking available for one large WAV and one car. There are two doors to access the house - one at the front via a ramp, or wide door down the side of the house suitable for wheelchairs.
We understand that pets are family too, which is why we are dog-friendly.
WiFi is available throughout and heating is thermostat controlled.

There is an enclosed garden to the back of the property, as well as a large patio area. The patio is single level from the lounge and there is a ramp down to the grass area.
Location
Clacton-on-Sea is a charming seaside town in the heart of Essex. The house is just a 5 minute drive from the seafront, and close to a number of other lcoal attractions. There is a cafe, supermarket and take away within a 3 minute walk of the house, and plenty more amenties close by.
